We stayed in one of Villa that they have on AirBnB
The location and the view of the majestic Arenal Volcano, which is just Awesome. We witnessed during night Clear Arenal volcano with lots of stars right from our bed as the place has Glass Walls. It was our anniversary and we are touched with small touches that were done to make our anniversary special (chocolates/ballons etc). This is definitely a one-time stay location because you have awesome view of the Arenal Lake and Volcano.
You have few options for vegetarian, and they above average. You need 4x4 to reach the location, and I was driving at 10kmph as the path is all gravel.
The do not have kitchen in the villa so please your own food as the restaurant closes by 7 or 8 PM in the evening. Make sure that you bring a jacket which can block some wind as it gets cold and windy during night and early morning.
I found the place to bit overpriced for space and amenities. I assume you are paying for the location...

If you’re looking for a unique experience, good food, view, and wonderful people this is your spot. Note: the road getting up is very rocky and steep but if you’re willing to off-road for a bit it’s...

This family-run restaurant sits high up in the mountains and offers a breathtaking view of the Arenal Volcano — truly something special. The empanadas were the best I’ve ever tasted — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
Yes, the road up is a bit bumpy, but trust me — it’s 100% worth it. If you’re anywhere near Arenal, don’t miss this hidden...
