Our party of six just stopped here today on our way to La Fortuna. We were immediately greeted and made to feel very welcome. Marco described each dish with such enthusiasm so it was obvious that he takes pride in his work! I had the Casado dish and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved their food! Marco's grandfather opened this soda 24 years ago and three generations later, it's obvious why it's still going strong! Thank you for the delicious lunch, for making us feel so welcome and for the sample of the papaya that you had just picked fresh from your tree!! Do not pass...

Driving from or to puerto viejo de talamanca? You have to stop at this amazing local family owned restaurant. Menu del dia was DELICIOUS, excellent service by father and son who learned us more about their country. The sister was cooking, and her food was amazing. We really enjoyed eating there. Also the price quality is insane, finally a restaurant with a fair price. We payed 5000 colones for the menu del dia and a natural juice. Way better than all the gringo owned restaurants.

What an amazing experience! We had the best food in Costa Rica here and the people were also unbelievably nice! They brought us local fruits and vegetables to try, just because they want you to experience what their country has to offer. It has a real soda vibe with lots of locals stopping by and the food was really inexpensive. Make sure you don't miss out...
