Fantastic little restaurant with incredible authentic food in a lovely little outdoor mall. The seating area is covered and shielded from the road, with views of the shops. It was quiet, until nighttime when the crickets began to sing. We came in as two adults and three children, and everyone found something to enjoy—I wish I had taken more photos of the food because the presentation was as lovely as the dinner was delicious. Highly recommend the samosas, which were generously sized and I am still dreaming about today. I look forward to returning to Nosara and dining here again!

I don't usually eat Indian food because it's not my favorite but my bf loves it. That being said, this was some of the best tasting food I've had! Everything blended together so well and it was so balanced! The serviceware was beautiful, the staff was so kind, and it was so good we went back twice! Because it's not in downtown Nosara there was actually parking available, it was in a small shopping area so you're definitely not getting any sort of sunset-over-the-beach atmosphere but the food was worth it. The chefs are from India and know how to cook authentic tasting food!

This place feels like such a hidden gem, we went and no one was there. Service is polite and attentive, they even gave us complimentary dessert. The best part, by far, was the food. We had the Paneer Makhani and Chicken Tikka Masala, absolutely to die for! We both cleared our plates. The Garlic Naan was delectable, everything was outstanding. Hands down, better than any Indian food I’ve had in the US, which thoroughly surprised me! P.S. excuse the half eaten food, we couldn’t help to dive in when it came to the table LOL

Out of all of the places I’d expect to eat great Indian food, a restaurant on the pacific coast of Costa Rica wouldn’t have been on the list. We ordered masala papad, chili paneer, samosa, paneer kadai, and chicken curry. Every dish was expertly prepared and for the duration of the dinner, I thought I was back home in India. My favorite was the spicy chicken curry. The chicken was perfectly marinated and cooked, but the real star was the curry—absolutely incredible. Maybe it’s the Indian in me, but after spending 5 days in Nosara eating stupidly expensive “superfoods” that put my taste buds to sleep from sheer boredom, Tandoor was such a refreshing change. The food was so good and the spices so perfect, I was reminded why the British colonized us. I’ve never eaten food that made me feel patriotic. Great job Tandoor team, keep up the great work. I am an Indian. I know good Indian food. This Indian food is like any one will find in North Indian Punjabi restaurents and hotels of Delhi. The dishes are flavorful and better than what one gets in many restaurents in the US and UK. The chef has worked in hotels around Aerocity, New Delhi and is competent at turning out dishes. The service is quick. The staff is friendly. The place appears clean and the food fresh. It would be nice if the business owner upscales and has a closed off area for eating, since there is open seating. A selection of beers, wines and spirits will...
