Excellent option to spend a beautiful afternoon in a traditional Costa Rican village restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly service, delicious food at a great price (the quality / price ratio is incredible). It was very difficult to decide what to eat, everything looked so good, so we ordered the “surtida mediana” (chicken wings, pork “chicharrones”, fried fish, beans, pork sausage, cassava, tortilla chips and green banana... delicious! Very nice place not so far from the city and close to the mountains (kind of everywhere in Costa Rica :)). The food in general is delicious, but here I want to say that their burgers are the best!!!! My apologies I forgot the names of the ones we ordered, anyways they were delicious. Staff is very friendly and it has a huge parking lot across the street. They always have a person that help crossing the street and take care of the cars. And if you sit by the windows, the view is beautiful, we went for lunch and the day was nice to eat while watching...

We just found this place by asking google where to eat, while our favorite restaurant where closed, this place happens to have +800 reviews and hit the 4,5 stars of 5 and did not disappointed at all. We try three different dishes (cause limeño, chifrijo and pork belly strips) plus dessert 🧁 -all recommenced by Yolanda (best waitress ever)- about the place, absolutely clean, cozy and rustic perfect place to gather with friends and family.
