Pastelería Dey, Cafeteria y Pizzeria — Restaurant in Puerto Jiménez

We were in Puerto Jimenez in November 2020 and visited twice. The first time was on our way back from a trip and fancied a coffee - the second time we made a special journey to go there. The place is immaculately clean and the coffee is exceptionally good. Hoemade cake is fantastic too! If we had stayed longer we would have tried the pizza too! They make some wonderful birthday cakes, but we didn't get a chance to try those. All the staff were charming and put up with my awful spanish! Try it - you won't be disappointed! Great pizza y’all. Nothing bad to say about the food. You have to stop here if you are in the area or driving by. The service is rough, but the pizzas make up for it. It’s HOT. No air conditioner. But you shouldn’t expect that this far south. Get a cold Coca Cola and chill… they have some great desserts as well and they make amazing celebratory cakes. Pura Vida! Pura Pizza! 🤓🤙

This place is perfect for a roadside stop for a quick bite. They offer vegan cakes and vegetarian pizzas. The service was good. The hamburgers had good flavor. The pizzas did the trick.
