New to San Vito cuisine scene? Then it’s a must visit! Food was plenty to put it mildly (see pics) we went for a traditional Italian dish, but not as known as pizza or pasta and we had some Osso Bucco (bone with a hole). It was really good, meat was tender and the sauce was delicious! Side dishes were good, maybe too limited compared to the size of our osso bucco though. Next, Rissoto was good as well, although I’d prefer it a bit drier and not mixed up with the beef sauce. Our Aperol Spritz Cocktail was a bit too bitter for our taste and previous ones that we’ve had in other restaurants. On the other hand, I do have to praise the focaccia, it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I do have to try their pizza next time! Service wasn’t impressive to be honest. A friendlier face and a more attentive caring to the tables would do wonders to the experience. Biggest let down was the facility. Although nicely decorated, the place (distribution, bathroom, dining salon) wasn’t on par with the dining experience I was sold. Luckily, the food was the star as it should be! Overall, a must!!!

My husband & I had an excellent dinning experience one week ago. The owner is absolutely welcoming, friendly and embrace’s the authentic Italian culture. Our food was delicious. I ordered a tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection and my husband ordered a pizza, which was delicious. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Best pizza in Costa Rica hands down. This place is a gem. Beef carpaccio was absolutely delicious. Cream of porcini soup was fantastic. And the pizza…amazing. The real deal. Chef/owner is Italian, and this place is like stepping into a little slice of Italy in the high mountain jungles of Costa Rica. Totally unique and wonderful.

Found a one inch piece of wire in my ravioli. Fortunately, I saw it before it went in my mouth. When I mentioned it to the owner-chef, he apologized, but was unwilling to comp or offer another meal, which is customary in this industry worldwide. Previously, I have loved his food, and have been there many times in the years since his opening, bringing many people with me, but if he doesn't maintain good sanitary practices and doesn't value his repeat customers enough to treat them properly, I won't...

Great location just outside of town. Wonderful Italian atmosphere with low light and fine wood trim. A large selection of wines to compliment your meal. Try the Ripasso selection. We have the beef tenderloin and it was flavorful and very tender. The pasta is made in house and the gravy is very tasty. Service was fast and accurate and very helpful. I will be frequenting this establishment...
