Restaurante El Descanso — Restaurant in Sabana Redonda

There are two "el descanso", this one is the small one, the first one on your way down from the Paos volcano. The service is incredible, the food as you can see in the picture is plenty for the price, this is the traditional dish, delicious!! When I say the prices are good, you won't find a better deal than this. For our meal we had an appetizer, 2 fruit juices, 2 entries and coffee, everything for $. I won't tell you, you gotta go and check it out yourself. And the cherry on the top, the view!!. Beautiful place awesome people working here. Well...

Came with a family of 5 including 3 kids. The hamburgers were amazing!!! We also had a great tortilla soup (not spicy) and a fantastic beef soup with a ton of local vegetables in it super hardy and perfect for a windy pm here. Trust me when I tell you that one soup easily feeds 2 people. There was some communication error but they were very kind. 5/5...

The best meal we have had so far in Costa Rica. (and we are on day 8 in country) The Devil burger is amazing, a must try. The hand-made specialty drinks are fabulous. Every dish on the table was fabulous.
