Ribs on fire Costillería — Restaurant in San Isidro de El General

This has got to be one of the top restaurants in all of Pérez Zélédon. The food is amazing. If you have a craving for BBQ, you have to eat here. My family and I are visiting from Canada. In the three weeks of travel in the region, we ate here three times and have tasted everything on the menu. There are other good restaurants around, but none with as high a quality of food as Ribs on Fire. The burgers are so juicy and full of flavour, the smokiness in the ribs really stands out great and their bbq sauce in the pulled pork with their homemade coleslaw is to die for. I really like that there is a hint of ginger in the coleslaw. It gives the sandwich a whole other dimension.

The couple that owns the place are amazing people. They always greeted us with a big smile, behind their masks of course, even with some difficulties because of the language barrier. We are so glad that we have found this place during our trip in Costa Rica. We wish tons of success...
