If you find yourself traveling between Naranjo and Zarcero, a stop at Restaurante El Mirador is an absolute must. While the stunning views alone are worth the trip, the real star of the show was the Puntas de Lomo en Salsa de Hongos (Tenderloin Tips in Mushroom Sauce). The beef was incredibly tender and juicy, melting in my mouth with every bite. The mushroom sauce was rich, creamy, and packed with deep, savory flavor—it was so good we asked for extra bread just to enjoy every last drop. The portion was good and served with perfectly cooked sides that complemented the main event beautifully. Combined with the warm, friendly service and the breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and valleys, this meal was a perfect 9/10 experience. It’s the ideal place for a special lunch or a romantic dinner. Don't just drive by—make the stop. You will thank me later! -_-_-_ If you enjoyed my review please consider dropping me a Like. Home made style food ... they have their own taste on food is ok, clean, abundant and the place is cozy; has a nice view of the mountain and the wheather is nice. You should try for a one day trip... the parking lot is small, very difficult to find space because it is crowded but they hace one big nice guy that will help you alot with parking with great attitude and big smile!!!

My husband and I (tourists) came across this restaurant during our travels to La Fortuna. The traditional cuisine was delicious and the views were stunning. We're so thrilled to have had the chance to visit and dine here! Very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you for this beautiful spot!

This restaurant has an amazing view as its name says, but a good restaurant earns a 5 stars rating based on its food, not the view!! And the food at this restaurant is terribly Awful!!!!. I ordered a seafood pasta and was served a pasta with lots of pieces of chicken and just 2 shimps, not fish whatsoever!!! And totally taste less. My wife ordered Lomo steak, some sort of barbecue meat also totally taste less and she had to add lots of salt just to be able to eat it. We had been told that the food here was good but I guess they changed cooks or they don't have a...

Good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices, with spectacular views overlooking the coffee plantations. As a non Spanish speaking customer, I found the staff very helpful and friendly, and it was great to have the options of paying in Colones, USD or Credit card. The menu is varied, and meals were prepared quickly and served hot. The setting is informal with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in the area or...
