Bar & Restaurante Los Pilones — Restaurant in San Juan

It's an ok place. Usually the crowd is noisy on the front part ans that is not necessarily bad, but service is very difficult. We sat in a table, took them 10 minutes to come and clean, and another 10 for someone else to come take the orser because the person that cleans and the waiter are not the same.

After sharing some discontent we were advises to go to the back part which was much less crowded but then the food came. Food took abput 25 min to be cooked. And it had no special wow or anything. It was again, ok. If you are looking for a place to pass time before something you have to do, this is the place. They take long time to serve. And the food is ok, nothing ansolutely stunning in the food...

We came early in the day, and they weren’t yet serving their smoothies, which have been a highlight on previous visits. My Arroz con Camarones (Rice and Shrimp)was Excellent. My sister in law also loved the Arroz con Mariscos (Rice and Seafood). Service was very prompt (it wasn’t crowded yet, as it often gets)...
