Great place to drink some beers, the food is good but there are better similar places around. The place is the typical Rancho or Palenque. In the afternoon the environment is full of families, and as it gets late more groups of friends get together to talk and get wasted, a traditional activity in Costa Rica. Come over, sit at the bar and order some Caciques and beers until you are tipsy. Careful with the ride back, don’t drink and drive, but definitely do not expect to come walking or in public transport.

Great place for typical food. They are very generous with the portions and the prices are very convenient. The rustic environment is pretty nice and very comfortable to bring the whole family. The staff is very helpful and kind. Everything we ordered was pretty tasty. If you come on a cloudy day or a night remember to bring warm clothes. I will come back to try more things on the menu.

Most food was really good. Platano maduro con queso took pretty long. Most other food was already eaten by the time it arrived. Fajitas de pollo tasted great! The fries (papas fritas) on the other hand were very oily and soggy. Its too bad because the potatoes seemed good quality. But the frying process apparently wasnt done very well.
