This was the best coffee we had during our 3-week trip in Costa Rica! We did the coffee tasting - it was fantastic. We also visited other well-known roasters, including the famous Dota, but none of them could compare to Café Haug. Their coffee was far superior in aroma, depth, and overall taste. We ended up buying over 3 kg to take home - we would have bought more if it weren’t for the airline baggage weight limit! The most authentic and delicious coffee farm, processing house, and cafe in the entire Los Santos region. This is 100% family run and everything is so real here, from the drying racks outside to the pastry cabinet sitting on top of their great grandmother’s cast iron oven.
