Las Tinajitas — Restaurant in Santiago

We came here last year and loved the view! The owners are very nice and take care of. You do their best to find you a good table. There are mosquitoes at sunset, even though I tend to track them, especially more than most. They have less Mocktail options this year, but we got the ginger mint lemonade, which was tasty and not too sweet. I got the Caprese burger, which I replaced the falafel with chicken and it was really filling. My partner got the chicken breast in creamy mushroom sauce and really loved it as well. COSTA RICA March 21, 2020: on that day we travelled from Dominicalito on the Pacific coast in the far south to Santa Elena and Monteverde in the northwest. And each time when we take the Panamerican Highway north we always stop at this wonderful highway restaurant Soda Las Tinajitas, just outside San Ramon (Alto de Santiago) on the right hand side of the road.
