Terrible service and terrible overpriced food. My friend and I sat down at a table and no one came up to us to give us a menu. A few minutes later, a group arrived and they were seated and given menus right away. I finally got tired of waiting so I went inside to the front to get a menu myself. When we were ready to order, again, no one came to take our order. Finally after over 10 minutes of waiting, I finally raised my hand and a waiter came over after a few minutes to take our order. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup, el jardín spaghetti; and a strawberry smoothie. Both the soup and pasta were very bland. The vegetables in the pasta were still raw and hard. I still hadn’t gotten my smoothie yet. I asked a waiter about my smoothie and she said the kitchen is very just. Yet there was a group of 2 sitting behind us that ordered drinks way after us and they got their drinks before us. The only thing good was the smoothie and I finally got it after more...

Our group enjoyed lunch here after ziplining and enjoying the hanging bridges. Cute spot with a good variety of choices. We had the chicken tortilla soup and beef quesadilla. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was considering it it basically a restaurant for tourists. The soup was served with corn tortillas (not chips typically served in the US), and the quesadilla was served with fries. Prices were a little higher due to the area, but the quesadilla was a 10/10 in my book. You can also ask for hot sauce, which was very tasty. A friend got a slice of thousand layer cake. It was more like a caramel cake and not overly sweet. I'd recommend any of the items we had especially for the...

14,500 Colones / £22.52 for two cappuccinos, a slice of banana bread and a brownie. Insane prices. Menu quotes prices excluding 13% tax which is misleading, as they’re not optional. Couldn’t believe how expensive it was. Yes the waiters are polite and you’ve put the cake in the microwave for 10 seconds and added some sauce, but 2 coffees and 2 small cakes for almost 15k is ridiculous. Stinks of profiteering as you’ve nowhere else to go, it being inside a...

We stopped here for lunch just before our Sloth Sanctuary tour today. The food was average, nothing outstanding but not bad either. The service was good, and the views were peaceful and enjoyable. I particularly liked the garden and watching the hummingbirds. The drive up to this place is rough, so I wouldn't recommend making the trip just for lunch. However, if you're already there for a tour, it makes sense to stop in.

Rather slow service, but it's Costa Rica... everyone is on island time. But... it's still a bit unsatisfying. The food was alright, I got the burger which has "crispy" bacon on it, and it came with ONE slice of CHEWY bacon... so, a little disappointed about that, but all around it tasted pretty good. Drinks were great and the atmosphere and views were great. Would go back if I ever went back to Selvatura.
