What a beautiful restaurant! This restaurant is family owned and is located on their farm. The view is spectacular! The food was cheap, delicious, and fresh (paid 9,000 colones for 2 people food and coffee, and tipped 1,000)! The father of the family gave us a tour of the property, his farm animals and flowers. The son showed-off his quartz collection. They also have a giant swing which was a lot of fun 😊 Really worth detouring off the main road to get some food if you're nearby! The restaurant can be easily missed so I hope this review entices you to check it out 😄✨❤️

We spontaneously decided to stop by Mirador after exploring the Cavernas del Venado and it was an experience of its own! The family running the store was incredibly welcoming and kind. They showed us the animals around their home, things they built for entertainment, and let us explore the property while the food was being prepared. The home is also built on a hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding area--it really felt like we were in a different world. Our group was so grateful for their hospitality and we would come back again if we could!

We stopped here for lunch while driving through the area and loved everything about this restaurant! Delicious patacones and nachos with a spectacular view of the valley below. The most adorable little tour guide (the owners son) showed us around their farm and let our daughters use their really cool zip line and swing. Don’t miss this spot if you’re on your way to the caves or rio Celeste!
