In modo molto gentile ci accolgono e ci fanno accomodare all’interno della veranda chiusa. Grazie a tutti ci rivedremo sicuramente!

This is not a typical konoba you see hundreds of in Croatia. This place is more upscale and you can tell right away when you enter. Having said that, it's not very stiff but rather relaxed. I've called around noon and made reservation, as it was suggested by numerous reviews. Once we've entered it took few minutes to confirm our reservation and seat us. Finally we've ordered two house specials - veal risotto and roasted piglet. Vine (white and red) recommended to both dishes was very good. Risotto was good, with nice texture and subtle taste of veal, which was cut to very fine pieces. On the other hand piglet was really disappointing. Skin was tasty, but it was crisp only in small parts, leaving most of it rather tough. But the worst part was the meat itself - it was very chewy and hard to eat. I had to spend a lot of time cutting (what was also tedious) and chewing. It was not something I would expect for famous house dish. When I complained to the waiter he just brushed it off saying - as I told you, lamb would be softer and this is pork, so it's more tough. In the end I think place is OK, as my partner enjoyed her dish and we both enjoyed the wine. But I expected way more from highly praised restaurant with numerous awards. If not my lady I'd rate this place 2 stars.

One of my favorite restaurant in Croatia. Too bad they are not in Zagreb. If they were I would come every single day to feed myself XD I’ve been here twice for the dinner in January. Even tho it wasn’t a season for tourist, it was pretty full with the locals. Tried many things and enjoyed all : Prušt was amazing. Actually my friend bought one whole prušt for himself. Yes, It was that good. The pickled onions they served with some menus were so crunchy and tasty as well. But my favorite dish is the one really interesting stew made of pork feet and ears, which reminds me one of the fav stew in my home town. They also have really nice desserts. I’ve tried all of them and I would say the carrot cake is the best! Very professional waiters, atmosphere and the PRICE IS REALLY AFFORDABLE !Best experience! Definitely come back very soon ;)

Food was god, but for the price paid i expect to see better serving. We ordered 3 portions of famous skadin risotto (lamb risotto) and 2 portions of home made roasted chicken, we also had 2 mixed salad portions and one lettuce salad. What we got is not each portion in separate plates, but all 3 portions of risotto in one plate and 2 portions of chicken in one plate. Mixed salads were also served all together. For the price I expect much much better serving. Roasted chicken and roasted pig was very nice and delicious. Risotto is fine but does not justify 30% bigger price than average for similar dish. I expected bigger portions for the price and renome.

Wow! Top notch, everything. The atmosphere, the staff and the food. I never ate a better rumpsteak - about one kilo per portion, so easily a two person meal. I had an excellent piece of veal here too. They also served us these two distinct dips for the meat - one was mustard-based with different vegetables inside, a really mellow taste that goes grrreat with the meat, and the other which was a caramelized onion dip with balsamic vinegar - tastes sweet and sour, excellent. The prosciutto was amazing, and the dessert was pretty nice as well. Warmest recommendations, obviously. :)

Had dinner here tonight, and the food was overall good! The veal risotto was really nice, flavours and textures were cooked to perfection. Similarly, the crispy potato was very yummy (although leaned a bit on the salty side). We don’t eat pork so we tried the house famous roast chicken instead, and it was mildly disappointing. Although it was seasoned well, there were parts where the meat was very dry. Wish it was served with some sort of sauce. Service and ambience was good! I would recommend this place especially the veal risotto, but perhaps skip the roast chicken.
