4.5⭐️ Placed in the picture-perfect city of Roč, this konoba is beautiful and delicious. The outdoor and interiors are authentic, and it adds up to a wonderful atmosphere. They have the 2nd best homemade bread in Istria! Make sure to try the house prosciutto alongside olive oil. Along with the bread, my favorite thing here is the homemade pasta. Especially the truffle ravioli, stuffed with different cheeses, even though I would prefer a bit more cheese inside. Pijat Ročkih Glagoljaša, a mixed plate for two persons, is a unique and an excellent opportunity to try various foods. Skuta with walnuts and honey was a decent dessert. The staff and the owner are friendly, kind, and fast. Next time I must try the specialty — ribs. Unfortunately, they ran out of it my last time there. The last time we also had the sausages, cabbage, and gnocchi with beef goulash, which was all delicious! All in all, when in Istria...

Excellent food, service and ambience. I would highly recommend a visit - be sure to reserve a table to avoid disappointment.

A restaurant with a fantastic menu. We started with a portion of grilled cow cheese which was tasty. For mains we had the cheese ravioli with black truffle and pork ribs with polenta, both highly recommendable. We had the ricotta cheese with honey and walnuts on coffee cream for dessert, which was different and delicious.

We also tried a series of drinks from the distillery including Biska (mistletoe), Teradinino (red wine and chilli), and Medig (herbs). Personal favourite was the biska but all really good!

It's worth the detour if you're not...

The meal I had at Rocka Konoba, a dish of ravioli, topped with shavings of black truffle, is one that I still think of three months after we returned from our holiday!.This dish, served in a charming and comfortable restaurant by an attentive host, was the cuisine highlight of a three week trip that covered Austria, Croatia and the Aegean. My partner enjoyed his gnocchi with goulash, and an unusual but pleasing mistletoe brandy rounded off the meal perfectly. The next day the amiable owner very patiently answered our many questions about this beautiful region and his perfect little home town. If there were more stars to give the Rocka...

This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations with its delicious cuisine and generous portions. We indulged in two exquisite dishes featuring truffles - a delectable pasta dish with succulent pulled pork, as well as beef polpettes smothered in a mouthwatering truffle sauce. The prices were on par with other local eateries in Istria, with truffle options available for around 20€. Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff were also friendly and welcoming, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. As an added bonus, there is a convenient on-site store offering a variety of local beverages and food, and ample free parking for patrons.
