Konoba Porat — Restaurant in Grad Omiš

We went there for dinner. It has seats with view over the sea and bay, surrounded by some lovely plants. On the colder and windy days you can still sit outside in the back as it has some windows instead of being open.

The waiter was friendly and knew everything well. Service was good. One of us ordered pizza, another one white fish filet and last of us shared an octopus dish. All were tasty and we really enjoyed it.

Loved the location, on high rise above the beach with view on the sea. This is more an inn then restaurant because you can taste more like homemade cooking than a fancy restaurant...it is a small vilage after all. I ordered four prawns and as I am used to zlata, I was not really thinking about the price. 18.00 EUR. They were awful. Undercooked. Sure, plenty of garlic, but at 4.50 EUR per shrimp, it is a really bad deal.

The waiters do not control the pricing or the quality of the food. Oddly, they take credit cards but there is no way to tip them, so carry some cash!!

Ultimately, you are much better off walking down the street to Konoba Leut and ordering there as the prices are much better, the food is much better and the wait staff is just...
