Istarska Konoba Buići Poreč — Restaurant in Grad Poreč

We came at this restaurant with big expectations since we were recommended this place,but it was not even close to any other konoba in Pula region. Service was so poor. We had to wait very long to be served and also to pay. Among ohter we ordered grilled veal meat, which came hard as a rubber, and also grilled fish.the fish came with no veggies or potatoes,and that we were told in advance. But the fish itself was tasteless. Also the side order of grilled veggies came with no spices or oil..just dry veggies grilled for few minutes. We had dinner as a group of four and absolutely loved our experience. We ordered several large plates to share—everything from a perfectly cooked steak with potatoes to an incredible seafood platter. The prawns were especially outrageous—so fresh and flavorful! The wine selection was amazing and paired beautifully with our meal. Beyond the food, the atmosphere had a warm, traditional charm that really made us feel at home. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!!! This was our fourth visit to Konoba for a special occasion. We haven't been since 2018. The restaurant is still as beautiful as ever and the staff are friendly and welcoming and made us feel very special. We received an aperitif upon arrival. Housekeeping was great as usual and addressed so nicely the little details that were noticed and appreciated. The restaurant grounds are still absolutely beautiful. I am so happy that Konoba still remains one of my favorite restaurants, and beautiful Poreč remains such a special place. We hope to be back again before the...
