A•Bay Beach Bar — Restaurant in Grad Stari Grad

I’ve visited this bar on many occasions both last year and this year. In 2024 it would’ve been an easy 6 star experience. It was by far the best spot on Hvar, felt like a true luxury resort with flawless service, attentive staff, top tier cocktails, and genuinely delicious food.

This year, sadly, it’s a complete reversal. Cocktails are watered down and inconsistent, the kitchen closes at random times, and staff make inappropriate jokes with each other instead of paying attention to guests. The overall vibe went from polished and professional to careless.

Very disappointed with the service.

On our first visit, we specifically said we came for dinner, but nobody mentioned that the kitchen closes at 6pm. We placed our order at 6:01 and were told the kitchen was already closed — just one minute before.

On our second visit, we ordered margaritas, but they were served without salt, unlike the first time when they were served properly.
