Caffe - pizzeria bar Kambia — Restaurant in Općina Klis

We ordered pizza specifically without mushrooms because of the allergy. But for some weird reason they added mushrooms. Then the waitress said that making a new one will probably take up to 40 minutes, and refused to make a discount. At the checkout it turned out that different menus have different prices. Horrible service. Good pizza though, even one of us remained hungry. !!! UPDATE to my review in response to the owner’s unprecedented rudeness, who went so far as to call me “cattle looking for a discount.”

We ordered a pizza without mushrooms (allergy issues) as described in the menu, but it was served with mushrooms. When we pointed this out, the waitress went to check, confirmed the mistake, and admitted it. I asked for a replacement pizza. She replied that the kitchen was already being cleaned and it would take up to 20 minutes to reopen, plus another 15–20 minutes to make a new one. We declined, as we simply couldn’t wait that long, and only then started eating — because we had no other choice.

I asked for a discount, since one person (out of 4 adults and a small child) was left without a meal. The waitress refused. At this point, our experience was already ruined.

Then, when I went to pay, it turned out that the pizza was listed as €21 in their system, while our copy of the menu clearly stated €20. They still insisted on charging the higher price — over a €1 difference.

Places like this ruin not just a dinner, but also your impression of the people and...

Terrible service. The waitress didn't bring us the menu for over 15min. Finally I got it by myself, as well as cleaned up my table from glasses and plates that were left by previous guests. I also had to clean the table with wet tissues, since it was so dirty that I glued my hands to it. When we finally got our pizzas, noone brought us forks, knifes and plates. Having in mind how long we had to wait for menu, we ate pizzas with hands - I suppose that this method was much more hygienic that using their stuff. The toilet was also dirty and smelled very unpleasant and I suggested my wife not to visit this terrible place. The restaurant isn't crowded and while we've been ending our meal I have noticed that nobody took care about the tables left by guests for over 15 minutes. There were still plates, glasses and the cutlery. Waitress was on the ground floor and happily led the conversation with the bartender. So this was the reason why I had to clean up my table by myself to had place to sit.

Now the prices; totally unreasonable. Pizzas for 80kn?!

What else - guys we are in XXI century and you didn't notice that mankind developed...

After taking a boring tour of Klis Fortress in scorching Sun me and my Family just wanted to have something to fill our hungry stomachs. It was then we stumbled upon Kambia and surprisingly we tasted the best Pizza so far.

It was truly delicious and way more worth the prize.

The waitress too was kind, polite and patient in her service.

Also, it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city hence feels no rush so you can sit back and just enjoy your food.

After our meal I had small chat with the waitress and asked if the Chef was from Italy, she said her father himself is the Chef and had worked for long time in Napoli.
