Riva Bistro & Caffe Bar — Restaurant in Općina Punat

Avoid this place. Had the most awful experience there. Got served meat that had not only tasted awfully, but had gone off and smelled badly (pork meat on skewers). The waiter and the owner responded incredibly rude, dismissing our complaint altogether, and the owner was even shouting, ignoring the fact that we were with a small baby. On a side note, it’s amazing how all restaurants in Punat manage to have reviews no lower than 4.4 - I reckon an “army of trolls” is at work, ensuring high reviews for something that would normally not score...

We absolutely love coming back to this restaurant! Every dish we've tried has been consistently delicious, made with obvious care. Fish was not that good: octopus salad and actual salad had the same taste. Sea bass was average. Rice was way over cooked. We had Dalmatian beets before and were way better (more tasty). Last but not least...didn't accept credit cards but it wasn't...
