Place was recommended by our tour guide and we were very happy with the choice - the food was freshly made on the grill next to the terasse (one from the group had the tuna filet on grill and praised it as one of the best fish filets ever tasted), you can chose the main course, then chicken soup, rice (two sorts), cooked pumpkin, etc come on the side with each order. The best food on my whole trip. It’s expensive by Cuban standards at €15 per person excluding drinks but it’s worth it. You get huge plates of rice, bean stew, vegetables and soup alongside your chosen main. It was all packed with flavour. I’m vegan, my partner eats meat/dairy, and there was plenty for both of us. They even made the pina colada without milk or honey for me, and called us a taxi when we needed to travel home. Service is very nice and happy to "hablar espanol" if you can. Freshly barbecued meat platters for 10 CUC plus all sides for free (White and black cuban rice, bean soup, tomato, cucumber, fruit plate, banana chips, …).

Located right next to the Los Jazmines hotel, you also have that amazing valley view into Vinales. You can watch the sun go down behind the mountains, sipping on a glass of chilean Cabernet Sauvignon …
