Had a really enjoyable evening. The restaurant is well presented and fairly modern. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu offers indian and european dishes. We started with popadums and dips with samosas. The dips are excellent especially the youghurt and mint. The starters were a nice size. It would have been a meal in its self if we went for the bahjees and pakoras as well. The menu offers a variety of meats with a vegetable option to go with each sauce which could be had mild medium or spicy. Plenty of options to suit every taste. I had a lamb pasanda and it was delicious. Beer offered in draught or bottles, wine by the bottle or glass. Very reasonably price meal over all. Really enjoyed the experience and would recommend a visit. We took the take away menu to use on our last night...

We have been visiting Spice Garden since it opened, around 10 years ago. The food has been consistently good. Always served hot, full of spicy flavour. One of the best we've visited. The restaurant itself has always been OK, work in progress. But now it is very nice, extremely tidy, comfortable seating, good clean table clothes, lots of shaded seating. Shocking, everything ordered, apart from the rice, was just bad. The owner is away, he needs to come back pretty fast. Hideously expensive for the quality. Beef dry around the edges so been sitting there for ages before cooking, all 9 small pieces, cooked in a tandoori sauce, not madras as ordered, korma sauce was lumpy... How?.... Naan was dry and the onion bhaji's were a congealed mess. Nope,...
