Beer Garden — Restaurant in Κοινότητα Αχέλειας

Crazy, sat in a beer garden at an international airport... ok so the grass is AstroTurf, but the sentiment is there. Huge selection of beers, wines and spirits, topped of with really friendly staff. The prices are not ludicrous for an international airport, they are not town prices either but the beer is cold and well kept and sold in half, pint, and larger than a pint peaking at about €7 for the big thing...so I am told 😉

Primarily it is a smoking area so that goes on, but I think the pungent aroma of Kerosene is stronger than the smell of smoking.

The only drawback is the absence of a departure board, which means as a solo traveller packing up your stuff to go check the board. You can of course check online if you feel confident in your information providers' accuracy.

Cyprus one of the last bastions of understanding that cigar and cigarette smoke isnt the devil you think it is. not bad prices for an airport not cheap but not bad. a beautiful outside bar and smoke loungue. well done...

Well, they have beer (slightly overpriced, but what can we do), they have some plants, so you can call it "Beer garden". Ah, and there is food too, and coffee, and other drinks. Overall good place to wait for the gate to open before boarding your flight to wherever you...
