The best place for souvlaki or ofto in cyprus. honestly yhe people there know how to work. excellent quality food, they served the 3 most traditional food in cyprus 1 souvlaki. 2 Mezedes ( different foods in small portions) 3. ofto kleftilo. Their food quality is excellent and the quantity is enough even for a hungry fat guy ) personally i visited the place several times , its located in beautiful location in the center of athiennou village. the place can hold a lot of people but every time we are making reservation so we can ensure that we can find a place to sit. people are very friendly and they serve very good. i also choose this place for special occasion that i want to amaze people from other countries. i visited the place with a couple from spain and they amazed about the quality and quantity of the food. i recently visited the place with a woman from france and she was amazed. When we sit to the place they just bring some starter food for free and the woman she was asking me , " did we order this? " i said no its just they bring it to everyone without charging you extra. she was amazed. the food was perfect the price was the best in cyprus taking in mind the quantity too and in the end they just bring those crazy tasty traditional cyprus sweets. mpaklava and kateifi in big portions too for free. The accompanying potatoes are equally delightful, having soaked up all those incredible juices. It's a truly authentic and deeply satisfying dish that keeps me coming back for more.

Trust me when I say (write) that I find myself giving a 5 star rating is very rare but this tavern had an all around positive experience. Went there with a group of friends and we were immediately greeted and sat as well as being served with water. Once we decided to order food was served within 10 minutes. There were a plithora of appetizers and desserts that come with the main food ordered. All food that was served was fresh and really tasteful. We never had to wait long to be served if we ordered anything else. The environment was really cozy and with music in the background. Keep in mind that when we went on a Friday night the place was really busy. Lastly the prices were really low compared to other taverns that you would get less than half Tamplios offers.
