I have tried many Cypriot sandwiches at different spots over the years, but this has got to be the number 1 sandwich place I have been to. I had my go-to order of Haloumi and Loundza and it was a 5 star experience, the quality of the ingredients is noticeable, no scrimping on fillings, my sandwich was packed, and you could tell the bread was fresh from the same day. This spot is literally a side of the road food van, it isn’t trying to be fancy, you can grab a seat whilst your sandwich is being prepared - the owner Fotis is a friendly guy, with prices that are more than fair for the quality of ingredients. Would recommend asking for a few bags of the home made pickled veg to accompany the sandwich, these were also really tasty and I nice added touch. The most amazing Cyprus sandwich you can get anywhere on the island. I was dropping my son to the airport after a 200km trip from Argaka, we wanted a place for a quick snack and he found this place not too far out of our way. All I can say is that it would have been worth the whole trip just to experience this. The "chef" was cheerful despite the 35 deg heatwave, good sense of humour and made us welcome to his humble umbrella. The special sandwich was quickly made fresh, it was delicious and filled the spot. And to top it all, his grandmother came from my village, Argaka. Way to go for a small world....

If you are out for a quality Cypriot sandwich, then do yourself a favour and visit this place. Convieniently located to the nearby airport. I could barely finish the sandwich, it was so big. It was cooked, and made fresh right in front of me only using the best local ingreedients, which give you a fantastic taste of the local area.
