Exceptional, top notch, world class 👌 I've waited to visit again to make this review, just to make sure the quality is persistent. And it surely was.

I tried to order the same dishes and some extra dishes to see the consistency, and it didn't disappoint. The food is exceptional, the ingredients we know, but selected, arranged and served in a manner that has a style which has a character and tastes great. The dry age selection is just right, two types of steak, but the best of those, they let you choose your cut which is perfect and cook it as you choose, not more not less. All the food seems classic, but has a touch that makes you say this has something different, in a good way. Some herbs, some aromatics, some cool matchings and most important of all, it seems like all the products they use are high quality.

The cocktails are great, you should definitely try their specials.

The servers are top notch. professional, kind, tidy, always have their eyes on you, know the menu well, serve you well and there is more than enough for each table.

The ambiance is great, both posh but also it doesn't make you feel uncomfortably luxurious, you just feel welcome and cozy, but also you feel the quality in the décor and ambiance.

The prices are not cheap, but definitely not overpriced when you think of the quality of the food and the service, you pay for the experience not only for the ingredients, so it is worth it.

Bravo to the chef, bravo to the owners/partners/co-owners all. I hope you keep this standard, despite all the social, cultural and political difficulties being in the north part of Cyprus causes. Thanks for the experience.

Side note: I'm adding a story from the businesses IG account which made my heart melt. Which shows character. In this cruel world we live in, some kind souls still exist.

Overlooking the sea, Alta Marea is a little oasis in Kyrenia. I have been for both dinner and lunch. I have to say I actually preferred visiting at lunchtime. Sitting outside watching the sea, with cocktail in hand and ordering six of the small dishes to share between me and my partner. The cocktail list is great, and unlike other places, the mixologists really make good cocktails. It's worth getting one whilst waiting for your food, or even just to come for cocktails. The crab tacos and Calamari were delicious. I have also previously had the steak tartare as a starter and that was also nice. I must admit that I actually prefer the small plates and starter dishes to the main, I had a clam and spaghetti dish when i came for dinner, and there were only 4 small clams in there and the broken shell was mixed into the spaghetti so this let it down a bit for me. Sehr schöne Location mit Bar und Snackbereich im Erdgeschoss (ebenerdig zum Parkplatz) und einem tollen Restaurant im Untergeschoss mit sicht auf das Meer.

Die Terasse ist recht eng aber wunderschön gelegen.

Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Weinliebhaber haben hier ein kleinen Ruhepool gefunden mit einem großen begehbaren Weinhumidor.

Der Italiener ist definitv Topclass auf der Nordseite aber es ist noch etwas (wenn auch nicht sehr viel ;)) Luft nach oben.

Die Speisekarte ist komplett in EUR und sehr gehoben. und beginnen bei 16€ bis hin zu Foie Gras 30€ über Austern St. 7€ bis hin zu Beluga Caviar (50g 410€)

die ersten Hauptspeisen liegen bei 22(calamarata)-32€(Tagliolini mit schwarzem Trüffel) und der Lobster ist die spitze mit 70€..

die zweiten Hauptspeisen liegen von 32€(coniglio)-52€(risotto safran) und Fleisch (11/12€ á100g und Lobster 17€ á100g)

Eine recht große Karte mit ~21 Hauptspeisen & 16 Vorspeisen.

zu erst kommt ein Gruß aus der Küche perfekt so wie man es erwartet in der gehobenen Gastronomie. selbst gemachte Grissini und Cracker, Tomaten Foccacia, ein Ciabatta was Baguette anleihen hatte und dazu ein Schälchen Olivenöl mit im Ofen angegrillten Cocktail Tomaten und Pesto. Schon mal ein guter Start... :)

Wir hatten Vitello Tonnato, Carpaccio di Manzo & Tartare di Tonno. Die Vorspeisen waren alle mitsamt gut und sehr fein abgestimmt. Der rohe Tunfisch ist bestimmt nicht jedermanns Sache aber mit dem Dressing sehr fein auf der Zunge. Vitello Tonnato ebenfalls sehr gut auch wenn ich hier etwas mehr "power" erwartet habe. Das Carpaccio war fein abgestimmt mit Parmesan und einem Trüffelparfümiertem Ricotta.

Als Hauptspeisen hatten wird Pappardelle al cinghiale, spaghetto vongole e asparagi di mare, Raviolo und ein T-Bone Steak mit 950g welches als "Fiorentina" beworben wurde.

Die Hauptspeisen waren alle durch die Bank auf den Punkt und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Einzig das T-Bone Steak hatte ich Medium bestellt und habe es Well bekommen also etwas zu durch. Dazu war es definitiv kein Fiorentina rind ;) Etwas verstört hab ich dann ein schon zerlegte T-Bone bekommen, welches vor dem Garen vom Knochen gelöst wurde und in 3 Teilen Filet, Knochen und Roastbeef aufgeschnitten serviert wurde. Die Teile wurden nicht gegrillt oder Gebraten sondern Frittiert! Ein T-Bone im "deepfry" stiel ist wohl der Amerikanisch Einfluss im Restaurant. (sollte man vielleicht in der Karte erwähnen) Spätestens beim aufschneiden hätte man aber sehen müssen das der Garpunkt nicht stimmt ;) immerhin 105€ Fleisch... (11*9,5)

Als Nachtisch hat dann ein Mousse Au Chocolat und ein Tiramisu welche wunderschön dekoriert an den Tisch kamen den abend ausklingen lassen.

unterm Strich wünsche ich mir etwas mehr Mut bei den Gewürzen und dem Salz damit es ein perfekter abend werden kann.

Die Preise sind sehr gehoben aber gerechtfertigt wenn weiter an den Speisen gefeilt wird.

Der Service ist größtenteils aufmerksam und geschult.

Wenn der Chef dann schon aus der Küche kommt um Gäste zu begrüßen sollte man vielleicht bei der geringen Anzahl der Tische alle Tische würdigen und nicht...

Restoran, girer girmez sizi etkileyen şık dekorasyonu ve samimi atmosferi ile sizi karşılıyor. İki bölümden oluşuyor, üst kat lounge olarak hizmet veriyor, öğlenden akşama servisi var. atıştırmalıklar, alkollü içecek ve pizza gibi alternatifler sunuluyor. Nefis bir manzara ve gün batımı sunuyor. Alt kısım akşamları restoran hizmeti veriyor. Menü, klasik İtalyan lezzetlerinin yanı sıra modern yorumlar da sunan geniş bir yelpazeye sahip. özellikle, dinlendirilmiş etler, ıstakoz gibi seçenekler oldukça etkileyici. Başlangıç olarak seçtiğimiz carpaccio ve burrata, taze ve lezzetliydi. Ana yemek olarak tercih ettiğimiz mantarlı risotto ve çok iyi pişmiş ve oldukça doyurucuydu. Tatlı olarak da tiramisu denedik ve oldukça lezzetliydi. Şarap kavı da oldukça etkileyici. Garsonlar da oldukça bilgili ve sizi hem yemekler, hem yemeğinize en uygun şarabı seçmenizde yardımcı oluyorlar. Restoranın dekorasyonu modern ve şık bir tarzda döşenmiş. Rahat ve samimi bir ortamı var. lezzetli İtalyan yemekleri, geniş şarap kavı ve şık atmosferi ile özel bir akşam yemeği için ideal bir mekan. Fiyatların biraz yüksek olduğunu belirtmek gerekir. Ancak, özel bir kutlama veya romantik bir akşam yemeği için bu fiyatların makul olduğunu düşünüyorum. (11*9,5) Als Nachtisch hat dann ein Mousse Au Chocolat und ein Tiramisu welche wunderschön dekoriert an den Tisch kamen den abend ausklingen lassen. unterm Strich wünsche ich mir etwas mehr Mut bei den Gewürzen und dem Salz damit es ein perfekter abend werden kann. Die Preise sind sehr gehoben aber gerechtfertigt wenn weiter an den Speisen gefeilt wird. Der Service ist größtenteils aufmerksam und geschult. Wenn der Chef dann schon aus der Küche kommt um Gäste zu begrüßen sollte man vielleicht bei der geringen Anzahl der Tische alle Tische würdigen und nicht nur einen ;)
