Archway Restaurant — Restaurant in Girne Belediyesi

We stayed in the Kermerli Konak Hotel and this is where breakfast is served, you eat inside or out. We tended to eat outside taking in the sun and view from the outer terrace but did one time eat inside which is nice and has an old rustic feel. The Option for breakfast was continental or full English and are ample sometimes the portions was small but just asked for extra far better than being over faced and wasting food. We ate also the first evening we stayed and the food was top notch, which meant we ate there a number of times after very tasty food ample sized and great value. Can recommend the Mixed kebab, Chicken Chops, Salmon, Calamari and chicken kebab. But all the meals we saw looked very good. Most meals come with fruit and coffee to finish and usually a plate with what I can only describe as pickled but sweet and tasty Walnuts, Aubergine and orange which had to be tried. For dinner service the waiters are dressed in traditional costume which adds to the atmosphere But watch out for Omar the tall slim waiter and his side kick Khizar both great guys with a very dry sense of humour and both have a habit of just appearing to check everything is good as they breeze around doing their job. We got to know them and as my wife asked for cereal for breakfast we got the nicknames of Mr Paul and Madam Muesli which we found amusing. Both eager to please and ensure that everything was as we wanted it We ate at other restaurants but found the food, staff, location, value and quality here far better hence why we ate here...

Woow. 5 star is not enough to express the exprerince that you might have in Archway Restaurant. We been here on a hot Cypriot night. However, the restaurant is located so wisely that we had our food with no sweats. It was cool and comfortable. There was a nice cool breeze during the dinner. And I think thats one of the things that add to this place as on such a hot night, you may not be able to enjoy the best dinner because of the heat. The presentation of food is slightly different than the others and from starters to the desert, the food arrives to your table nicely and with its all attraction. I must say 'meze' (appetizers) were made in conformity with the true and original Cypriot receipe. Cyrpriot food is good in general and the one you will have in Archway is no different. Want to have a peacuful dinner in a wonderful athmosphere, you should definitely...

🗓️ Hafta sonu akşam eşimle birlikte akşam yemeği için gittik. Romantik ve kaliteli bir akşam geçirmek isteyenler için oldukça özel bir mekân.

🍽️ Ne Yedik: İki kişilik karışık kebap ve bir adet full kebap söyledik. Fiyatları menüdeki en yüksek seçeneklerdendi, yaklaşık 1450₺ ve 1650₺ civarındaydı. Ancak yanında gelenler oldukça zengindi: 15’in üzerinde meze, hellim, buzlu badem, sarımsaklı tereyağı ve kızarmış ekmek. Özellikle buzlu badem ve sarımsaklı tereyağı favorimdi. Kebaplar gayet lezzetli ve doyurucuydu. Şeftali kebabı, pirzola (küçük t-bone şeklinde geldi) ve köfte özellikle öne çıktı. Tavuklar ise diğer etlere göre biraz zayıf kalmıştı ama genel kalite yüksekti.

📋 Menü: Menü sade; ürün isimleri var ama içerikler çok açıklayıcı değil. Profesyonel olarak geliştirilebilir. Ancak garsonlar tüm ürünleri detaylı şekilde anlatıyor ve eksiksiz bilgilendiriyorlar.

💰 Fiyat: Mekânın ambiyansı, hizmet kalitesi ve sunulan ikramlarla birlikte değerlendirildiğinde fiyatlar üst düzey restoran standardında. Pahalı sayılabilir ama genel deneyimle uyumlu.

🧑‍🍳 Servis: Çalışanların tamamı yabancı ama Türkçeleri çok iyi. Kıbrıs geleneksel kıyafetleriyle servis veriyorlar. Hepsi güler yüzlü, ilgili, hızlı ve oldukça profesyoneldi. Espri anlayışları da yerinde, keyifli bir servis deneyimi sundular.

🌆 Mekân & Atmosfer: Tarihi bir yapı içinde hizmet veriyor. Ortam büyüleyici: manzara çok güzel, ışıklandırma şık, oturma düzeni rahat. Yaz akşamlarında teras bölümü açık ve oldukça keyifli. Gün batımı sonrası kalabalık artıyor, bu yüzden erken gitmekte fayda var. Romantik akşam yemekleri için çok uygun.

🧼 Temizlik: Genel ortam, masalar ve tuvaletler tertemizdi. Hijyen konusunda herhangi bir sorun görmedim. Her şey düzenli ve özenliydi.

🚗 Ulaşım & Erişim: Mekâna ulaşım kolay, ancak bulunduğu sokak dar ve çıkmaz olduğu için park problemi yaşanabiliyor. Yanında otel bulunduğu için araç yoğunluğu olabiliyor. Giriş kısmı düzenli, karşılama ve yönlendirme mevcut.

🎯 Genel İzlenim: Ambiyans çok etkileyici. Gün batımıyla birlikte oluşan serin esinti, ortamı romantik ve özel kılıyor. Alkollü ve alkolsüz seçenekler mevcut. Herkese eşit yaklaşan bir hizmet anlayışları var. Menü doyurucu, ikramlar taze ve özenli. Yemeğin sonunda gelen turunç ve ceviz reçeli ile meyve tabağı çok güzel bir finaldi. Ayrı ayrı meze siparişi vermek yerine full karışık kebap tercih etmek mantıklı; içinde birçok meze ve ara sıcak zaten geliyor. Bu bilgiler menüde daha açık yazılsa iyi olur ama garsonlar zaten detaylı şekilde anlatıyor. Lezzetli, doyurucu ve farklı bir deneyim arayanlara kesinlikle...
