I recently had the pleasure of dining at Popadoms, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance exuded warmth and elegance, perfectly setting the stage for a delightful evening.

The menu offers a rich variety of authentic Indian dishes, each more tempting than the last.The highlight of the meal was the Chicken Tikka Masala—tender pieces of chicken in a creamy, spiced tomato sauce that was perfectly balanced. Paired with the fragrant pila rice and freshly baked naan, every bite was a delight.

The service was impeccable, with the staff being both attentive and knowledgeable. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured our glasses were never empty.

A promising start. This place is nicely furnished with modern, comfortable chairs and tables. The decor is superb. Waiting staff polite and attentive but not in your face all the while and certainly not rude as is the case 'further up the road' Most restaurants in North Cyprus are not Indian but Pakistani and those restaurants are furnished from what appears to be a yard sale. Popadoms is run by a Bangladeshi/ Brummie guy who really knows how to make people welcome. Food is very good, portions good and an added bonus for us is there is no alcohol and therefore no inebriated ex-pats putting the world to rights at great volume.
