Unacceptable Hygiene Neglect: Lovely Setting Marred by Tasteless Food

Our recent dining experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the charming ambiance, the food was tasteless and bland, failing to meet even basic culinary standards. However, our disappointment turned to disgust when we discovered olive pips in the pickles halfway through our meal.

This blatant oversight not only ruins the dining experience but also raises serious concerns about hygiene practices. The presence of olive pips in the pickles strongly suggests that we were served leftovers from previous diners, which is completely unacceptable.

We were appalled by the neglect for basic food safety, prompting us to leave immediately after the discovery. Until there are significant improvements in hygiene standards and food quality, we strongly advise against dining at this establishment.

Your response is utterly unacceptable. Instead of addressing the serious hygiene issue I raised, you attempt to deflect with irrelevant statements about the restaurant's history. This lack of accountability only further undermines your credibility. My advice to you is to take immediate action to rectify the problem, or risk losing customers who prioritize hygiene and...

Kemal'in Yeri Restaurant is an absolutely charming place that truly captures the essence of a memorable evening out. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly sets the tone for a romantic dinner. The live music adds a magical touch – soft melodies and traditional tunes that encourage guests to sing along or even get up and dance, creating an experience that feels authentic and full of life.

The food is delightful, with beautifully prepared dishes that highlight the rich flavours of local cuisine. The fish could be slightly better in terms of texture and seasoning, but honestly, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The rest of the menu is spot on – fresh, well-presented, and bursting with flavour.

What really makes this restaurant special is its vibe. Between the candlelit tables, the sound of live singing, and the occasional dancing, it feels like you’ve stepped into a hidden gem where every moment is meant to be savoured. Perfect for couples looking to enjoy a romantic evening or anyone wanting to experience authentic dining with a lively,...

Please read to the end. We were here today, 17th May 2023 after seeing many good reviews.

Shame on treating your young waiter like a slave. It was so sad to see this. The VIP fish Menu was frozen stuff. Not fresh. Even the fish that was shown to me upfront was not actually used. After leaving the restaurant, the fish display was still same. You lie to your customers. We left 70% of the meat menu on the plate. The sheftali kebab was raw, chicken was dry and köfte also raw. Returned the plate almost as served. The meze were nothing special. Cats and dogs jump on chairs next to you, touching tables and dishes. Ordered two Coca-Cola. Was forgotten to bring to table. Chef waiter not attentive, always on the phone talking. Chef waiter made jokes with other guests about the young waiter. Absolutely disgusting and for this reason, I really hope that future guests consider if they want to support this behavior.

Paid over 1,000 TL for 2 persons, was definitely not worth it. 0 stars actually would be more accurate.

Don’t expect too much here. Would never...

I've changed my previous review to 1 star. Been coming here regularly for 10 months. Since the tourists have been arriving, slowly the prices have been rising and quality dropping. I understand the need to make money during the busy time, but tonight I am fuming with the so called food I have received! The smallest portion of uncooked rice, 2 slices of tomato, 3 and a half tiny Sheftali that taste like they've been padded out with sucuk. And it was cold. If I had checked the packet before leaving I would have asked for my money back. Well, when the tourists go home, my large family and I will no longer be your only customers eating in your empty restaurant. Enjoy the busy period my freinds!
