7 LINOI — Restaurant in Kapileio

Great Cypriot cuisine in the Troodos Mountains! I loved every bit of my meze! All ingredients were fresh, and dishes were cooked with love by Savvas and his team. The waiters were lovely, and I was accommodated to my dietary restrictions (what I know is a hassle for every chef, but I felt and was well taken care of). Though I missed on a few amazingly looking dishes (I was served a replacement though!), I consider myself very lucky that I was recommended this culinary gem on a Saturday night when a Cypriot band was playing. Thus, I enjoyed my dinner with even more sense than solely my taste buds. In sum, I can highly recommend going, and will certainly come back next time I am on Cyprus. Thank you!

PPS: Their meze is every Saturday and Sunday instead of their à la carte menu and costs 22,- € per person - an amazing price, particularly if you were in Paphos...

So the experience was a bit odd but let’s go through it. We went to 7 linoi for a Pizza and Steak night. As we ordered most of our orders came in apart from 2 main courses(steak dishes). Once the owner found out he quickly came to our table and informed us that due to the error there would not be any charges for the tables. Such behavior not only shows the upmost respect to the clients but gains their trust that even if something goes wrong they will for sure take care of it. Apart from the little hiccup, the food was amazing. We ordered mostly pizzas and for the amount of money that they charge, the quality is much higher than what you pay for! Unfortunately I cannot agree to the good reviews left here, to us it was not more than mediocre. The food was same as your average Sunday mezze taverna, nothing special and not even best quality (especially pork souvlaki). Service was even below, the ladies were not unfriendly but not warm or welcoming either. Once we got all the hot mezze dishes we became literally invisible to the service team - no one came to our table to ask to clean or to offer more beverages. While other tables were treated with desert and commandaria we got offered nothing. After 45 mins we asked for the bill another 20 after we got it I had to inside and pay (other tables were were helped with the card machine at the table). Not welcoming at all and therefore not...
