In this review we’re talking about the Acmenya Patisserie which compliments the other Acmenya establishments. First I will add that the cake counter sports a delightful display and they taste as good as they look. It’s on par with a London branch of Patisserie Valerie/Cafe Concerto. There’s also a full “a la carte” menu plus traditional Turkish, Italian and sandwiches, so you’re spoiled for choice. The English speaking multi National team are enthusiastically helpful and friendly. You can sit in the neat garden on sunny days or in the comfortable lounge. There’s a play area for kids at the back, but don’t be put off, the noise does not carry through. Went there for breakfast, the price was okay, but the quality was but terrible! the staff were really careless! They brought every piece of the breakfast plate “one by one” ! And between each thing that they bring was a huge gap.. until last moment they didn’t bring us bread so we had to wait and asked for it more than 5 times! I saw hair 5 seconds after he put the english breakfast on the table, asked him what this is and he just looked at me.. he would not take it back to the kitchen if we didn’t insist!!!! Excellent value for money here. I have just enjoyed a really good Sunday lunch. 3 courses with a choice on all 3. Followed by help yourself unlimited tea /coffee and even a drop of brandy if you like.
