We only came here as we were on a buggie trip, the atmosphere and views were great, I knew as soon as I entered the food would be average so I ordered a ham sandwich with chips and even that was very basic. I don't really think it's acceptable for any restaurant to be serving very poor quality ingredients. A lot of your custom comes from excursions so please don't take advantage of people coming to the area and spending their money.
Staff were okay, but I think they were just rushed off their feet, we asked for ketchup and some more drinks that never arrived, once we ate we just paid and left, no tip. I think its only fair to have more staff so that your staff have a higher chance of getting tips to increase their wages.

Read moreAphrodite used to bathe in this secretive little natural pool/grotto and that's where she seduced Adonis when he stopped for a drink during a hunting trip. Legend has it that this became their regular haunt. More importantly folklore tempts with stories of everlasting youth and beauty if you wash your face with the water and a restored full head of hair for those who need it. Still waiting/hoping. Seriously though, the surrounding botanical gardens and the scenery are the best part of this visit and the vistas are magnificent. Apparently several walks into the Akamas Peninsula start at this point and are reportedly a fantastic experience. Too hot on this occasion for a 2.5 km hike to the top - definitely though at some point in the future...with restored youth and hair blowing...
