When my family wants to spend a lovely day at the beach and have a proper food accompanied with a fantastic view over Latchi marina, it is obvious that we will go to Ttakkas Bay Restaurant and beach. We are coming here for already 5 years and the level of service stays the same during these years. Continuously great food, lovely staff that work here year after year, convenient parking and relaxing atmosphere will make your day unforgettable. I think we’ve tried almost everything from the menu during this time. Our favourites are grilled octopus, fried calamari. Lamb chops and pork chop are mouthwatering as well at the Ttakkas restaurant. They have also nice fish meze, grilled fish. If you are a meat eater or would like to try local food, then you should come on Sunday and have kleftiko. I recommend to finish your meal here with a cup of Cyprus coffee.
Prices are absolutely reasonable. This place is always packed with local people, coming to taverna for a family lunch. I consider it as a good sign. And now I also know that it’s a family restaurant. Thank you guys for those lovely moments and great food we are always getting at Ttakkas...

In saying that, I am a repeat customer, but you could be forgiven for saying “don’t fix what’s not broken,” so it clearly isn’t too bad… quite a lot of deep fired offerings, and the kids menu leaves a lot to be desired, but if you stick to salads and dips you can’t go wrong. The drinks are great, especially the frappes, and it’s ideally placed to...
Read moreCalamari, octopus and snapper were okay. Nothing freshly flame grilled, just reheated, but decent. The down vote comes from the shop refusing to take euros on my card at time of payment. Asked them to press EUR - they looked me dead pan in the eyes and pressed GBP instead. No question, ‘do you want to pay another way?’ Nothing! Then stated - this is the restaurant policy. No signage to indicate this anywhere, of course. Really? Never seen that in all my years of travelling. We have euros on our cards so we can pay in euros at rates we have agreed to. My bank pinged immediately after stating that I would likely be surcharged a 2.99% for the transaction. Otherwise, it was...
