I have placed an order for a cake for my babyโs baptism, days before we were due to collect it we came to the bakery to confirm the order was in place and correct as we placed the order via phone message. On the day we came to collect the cake, the cake was not done as requested so I informed the lady serving us that it was a baptism cake and that they did not follow the instructions given on the order, she was rude and said that she didnโt have that on the book (the same book that was used to Confirm the order days earlier) and that we needed to provide evidence of the order. We did provide evidence and at this stage she did not know what to do with herself so we told her she needed to call someone to get this sorted, they canโt just mess the baby baptism and say thatโs not their problem. The lady eventually called someone, at this stage I had around 20 of my guests all complaining also and she came of the phone saying all she could do was to give a 7 euro discount. We told her we needed to speak to the manager or the person on the phone and she gave us a phone Nr to call that never picked up our calls. This made us late for our event and ruined babyโs baptism. They did not take responsibility for what they have done at all treat us with disregard and were not apologetic at all the nr they gave us to call was apparently of someone we could complain and sort this, they never answered our calls, not sure who this is but they definitely need to get back to us and get this sorted.
