I've had a bad experience on consecutive visits, the first was around Nov/Dec and the second was today. I usually use the cafe while waiting for my car wash, but up until the previous visit I'd only had salads. I decided to try the breakfast but unfortunately it was served on a very cold plate, making the things like the egg and bacon cold and unpleasant to eat after only a couple of minutes. I mentioned this to the manager who apologised and said they wouldn't charge me (but they did!). I went again today, and was hoping that things might be better. No. I ordered the home-made steak & kidney pie which came without the chips - after reminding them, they arrived some 5 to 7 minutes later. I cut into the pie only to find it was cold. Now this could mean it was frozen and not defrosted properly, or it was not frozen but wasn't cooked properly, or because the plate was stone cold it had drained the heat from the pie. It was very quiet, so I found a table and the waitress brought me the menu. As I still had 24 miles to cycle, I opted for a cinnabon, an iced latte, and a fresh juice of orange, beetroot, and ginger. Both of the drinks I ordered were very good. I must not have read the menu properly as the cinnabon that arrived was a mini one. It was very good, though. My bill came to €10.20 which to be fair, is fairly reasonable. The cafe was very clean and the staff were friendly. There is plenty of car parking space and apparently you can get your car washed next door to the cafe. I will use Delizie Cafe again whenever I happen to be cycling...
Read moreA great surprise as a fill in after our usual breakfast spot failed to open! Delizie does breakfast the way it should be done. I had the Cyprus breakfast which turned out to be bigger than it looked and some Cypriot coffee to ensure I was fully awake to explore the archaeological site at Kourion some 20 minutes along the coast road. My wife and friends partook of omelettes, lattes, and milk shakes. Everything was freshly made and well presented, and the service was sharp and...
