Buns and Guns — Restaurant in Pyla

Probably the best smashed burgers i ve tried in the whole Cyprus. The ingredients are top quality and the flavor and the quantity is perfect. The crispy and juicy smashed burger with this delicious cheddar melting on top is out of this world and is definitely a must try if you are a burger addict. The chicken sandwich is an alternative option you can choose if you are up to something lighter, but is at the same level with the smash burgers. (they are using the whole chicken filet) . The chicken burger is one of the best I tried, firstly because is massive and Secondly because of how tender and juicy the chicken breast is and in combination with the crispy double fried exterior makes it divine. Usually I don't order fries in burger places like this because most of the times they disappoint me but this is not the case with this one. The loaded French fries from another planet🤤🤤🤤 And that all while being one of the best vfm burger places, with the double smash burger priced at €7.5 and you can add all the toppings free of charge. My friend called this noon to ask for a reservation for 6 people to have their advertised steak sandwich. We were told they do not take reservations so we came to try our luck. They were heavily promoting their Steak sandwich and Wagyu Burger on social media. To our surprise the Steak sandwich is offered only on Saturdays and Special occasions (for context we went on Friday night and they didn’t tell us when we specifically asked for it in the aforementioned phone call). We tried to order the Wagyu Burger but they told us it ran out and they posted about it on their instagram story!! Keeping in mind that we made a long trip to come to buns and guns, even though we were disappointed we decided to try to order their smash burger. They informed us that there was a one hour waiting time. That was the last straw and we decided to leave. I would also like to add that there is no adequate ventilation in the restaurant, we were inside for 10-15 minutes and we end up smelling like fried food for the rest of the night.

I am not a picky eater or regularly review restaurants but it was an unacceptable experience and false advertising. I would not recommend this...

Giving one star for two reasons. The owner is ABSENT from his business (by any means), he is INEXPERIENCED and HAS TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN if he can not operate it properly. Went there for the first time during his working hours, he couldn't serve me because he ran out of buns. Went there a second time, last monday, during his working hours AGAIN, but guess what? He was closed. Gave him one last chance today, but he failed again. I called to make sure that they are open before I go, as I live far away from Pyla. The number was busy. I called a few minutes later, and the number was not busy, but he didn't answer. I kept calling 3 times without an answer again. I sent him a message asking, "Are you open because I'm coming from Nicosia," but once again, no answer.. A few minutes later, I called again, and the number was busy. Imagine owning a shop and ignoring your customers this way. Really wanted to try a lot from their menu and give an honest review, but after those unsuccessful attempts, I will never spend even 1 second of my life...
