Garden restaurant MJ Holiday — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

I'm dinning here every single time I come to Brno (almost every second weekend) for the last couple years. The meat and specially the ribs are amazing. I gave 5 stars for the food, and 1 star for service , so 3 stars in the end, and that's because of the unpleasant experience we had (waiter's name is Robert). A little background: while we're ordering food for 5 people, and drinks as well, we are asked to not let the young kid (4y old) to drink his own water from his own bottle we had from home. This is the first time when we were asked ever for such thing. It didn't matter that we ordered a lot of drinks already, we ordered a lot of food as well, and still they considered that we are trying to avoid ordering drinks from the restaurant. :( I hope Robert will understand one day, when he will be a father, what it means to have young kids :) I still recommend the restaurant for the amazing food they serve, but very disappointed on...

Very tasty food , especially Holiday mix with ribs, chicken wing and legs . As well very good lamb so if somebody likes meat can be very satisfied from the quality. Unfortunately from organisational point of view restaurant really failing . We booked a table outside for 4 people and table was taken by other people . Restaurant explained to us that they have many people and tried to convince us to seat wherever . In the notebook where they have stored reservations they had note to put us wherever but during booking we booked exact table which we wanted. The Ribs are cooked so well and it comes in 500g or 1KG portion. The side dish and garlic bread is also included. It’s definitely top 5 food which I tried in Brno.

I really recommend this place specially in summer cause they have tables out side as well,

The price is fair compare to Average of Brno, Not cheap and not expensive.

The location is near one river which makes it more cozy.

The stuff are friendly.

I tried chicken soup as well which I liked but it wasn’t amazing.
