A perfect place for traditional czech dinner. I can safely say, that the beef goulash with steamed buns that we ordered was the best that I've ever eaten, the sauce was full of taste and meat was perfectly cooked. We've also ordered the chicken schnitzel, which was also really good. There is a really wide selection of soft drinks, including draft kofola. There was also a variety of draft beers to choose from. The only thing, that was not too good about this restaurant was the interior and played music, which I did not really like, but you can close an eye on that with such great food. Für mich das beste Restaurant mit tschechischer Küche in Ostrava! Etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums gelegen, kommt man mit dem 104/106/108er Bus doch in 20min dorthin. Auf Empfehlung meiner lokalen Kollegen bin ich dort mittags eingekehrt. Was soll ich sagen: Das Essen einfach genial! Service schnell. Preis-Leistung perfekt. Einfach mega! Ich hatte als Vorspeise die Knoblauchsuppe "Spezial" / garlic soup special / Česneková polévka speciál. Richtig guter Knoblauchgeschmack. feste Croutons, dazu Käse in der Suppe, sowie ein paar kleine wenige Schinkenwürfel. Super lecker. Als Hauptgang hatte ich Gulasch mit böhmischen Knödeln / Beef goulash, bread dumplings / Hovězí guláš, houskový knedlí. Das hat mich dann einfach umgehauen. Das Fleisch sehr zart. Die Soße sehr fein. Und die Knödel: Ein Traum! Fluffig leicht. Soße einziehen lassen und einfach nur dahinschmelzen. Das alles dann insgesamt mit einer Cola für 322 tschechische Kronen / ca. 13,-€. Besser geht es nicht! Die Speisekarte ist auf tschechisch und englisch. Ansonsten hilft die Google Übersetzer App Kamera-Funktion. Das Restaurant war Freitag mittags gut gefüllt, aber ohne Reservierung ein Platz möglich. Ich komme ganz bestimmt wieder. 1000%ige Weiterempfehlung!

Heute zum zweiten Mal da und es hat sich alles bestätigt. Ich hatte wieder die vorzügliche Knoblauchsuppe ‚Spezial‘ dazu als Hauptgang Gebratene Wildschweinkeule, Rotkohl/Blaukraut, Kartoffelknödel / Roast leg of wild board with red cabbage and potato dumplings / Pečená kančí kýta, červené zelí, bramborový knedlík und weils so gut war zum Nachtisch noch den hausgemachten Apfelstrudel / Homemade apple strudel / Domácí štrůdl s vanilkovým krémem. Was soll ich sagen?

Alles sehr lecker. Wildschweinfleisch sehr zahrt. Kartoffelknödel fester als die böhmischen Knödel des Gulasch aber auch lecker. Soße war nicht separat dabei, was mich erst überrascht hat. Das Blaukraut/Rotkohl war aber sehr sossig gemacht, so dass es nicht trocken war.

Der hausgemachte Apfelstrudel war genau richtig. Nicht schwer. Sehr dünner Teig. Gute Apfelfüllung. Dezent Rosinen und Würze. Sehr fein.

Wenn ich nach meinen zwei Besuchen eine Empfehlung geben sollte:

Smažený sýr a hranolky - short waiting time, the temperature of the food ideal for eating, very good. The beer was also delicious, and so cheap! Very nice waitress who helped me additionally - seems I had some outdated cash on me, and she offered to exchange those outdated bank notes, which saved me a trip to the nearest bank. The atmosphere here is very nice, although I kind of pity the stuffed animals that are put here on display, but they were for sure magnificent creatures!
