Starosuchdolská Restaurace U Alazani — Restaurant in Prague

The first thing that surprised me about this restaurant were it's relatively low prices. I was sure that they had to mean that the quality of the food would suffer, but boy was I wrong. The packaging the food came in was great with these strong aluminum boxes. I had the pancakes, grilled cheese, grilled chicken and french fries. The chicken strips were very good for their price. They were fairly large, but lacked in thickness. This made them harder to chew, but nicely crunchy at the same time. I enjoyed the taste of the chicken. The grilled cheese was much larger than other ones I've had. This included its thickness and size. I really liked that. The crust was slightly thicker in some parts, but that was easy to simply take off. The cheese itself was also clearly of higher quality and even after two hours gleamed with freshness. I bought the french fries once, but there was enough of them to last me for both of the meals. I've had better ones. These were a little thin and I would say I would've preferred them to be a little more crunchy. I was interested in what the pancakes would look like at their low price, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised. They come with this milky sauce and this other raspberry sauce. Starosuchdolskou restauraci jsem navštívil při své procházce Tichým údolím. Cestu jsem zahájil na konečné autobusu Výhledy. Odtud jsem mířil do Starého Sedlece, a právě tam jsem ji objevil. Nenechejte se odradit vnějším pohledem a posléze ani schodištěm do 1.poschodi, kde je interiér. Zvláštností je i to, že můžete využít i zahrádky, rovněž na zvýšené terase. Co je však nejdůležitější- ochotná a hbita obsluha a menu,kde převládá poctivá Česká kuchyně. Z piv se zde točí mimo těch typických např Uneticke, popř Roztocke- ,obě z blízkých pivovarů. Odtud doporučuji se vydat buď na blízké Kozí hřbety ( nebojte se, nebudete šlapat do Krkonoš, ale jen asi 1 km ), anebo sejít na okraj Unetic a vydat se naučnou stezkou Tichým údolím do Roztok. Příjemnou hospůdku neopomente však navštívit- dá Vám totiž správnou inspiraci a načerpate tu sílu na další cestu. Kdo by volil kratší procházku, může odjet do Prahy...

Byli jsme o víkendu i s malou dcerkou na obědě a rádi se zas vrátíme. Obsluha nás velmi mile překvapila, pán byl moc milý, ochotný, vstřícný. Pivo super, chválím změnu čaje z Rioby na Ahmad tea😉 K jídlu jsme si objednali kulajdu, svíčkovou a cheeseburger. Kulajda perfektní, svíčková fajná, cheeseburger super až na housku - zasloužil by si lepší. Co mě ale nemile překvapilo, byly dámské toalety. Jedny dveře zamčené a druhé neměly zámek, tudíž se stále otevíraly. Další věc je pouze ledová voda a papírové utěrky položené na zásobníku, ze kterého všechny padaly a byly mokré. Chápu, že vše chce čas a i toalety se dočkají rekonstrukce. Co by nám ještě udělalo radost, jsou podsedáky a lepší osvětlení, oranžová světla jsou možná designová, ale v restauraci je zbytečně šero - toť jen tip, třeba milovníkům piva to naprosto večer vyhovuje 🙃 Děkujeme a budeme se těšit na další...
