Tian Fu — Restaurant in Aalborg Municipality

This is definitely the best Mongolian Barbeque in Aalborg. Been here several times since 2023. Good food options, the sushi is all right, but their speciality is the hot food in my opinion. They have playground for kids, fruit, ice cream, cake as desserts. Food + desserts + hot drinks = All you want for a fair price.

If you want to avoid gluten, they have rice noodles besides cooked rice as well.

Great and tasty spring rolls, dumplings and fried food from the buffet! Try the mongolian barbeque because often there is salmon to fry as well and they always have big shrimps, squid, beef, bacon, lamb, chicken + some vegtables.

I almost never give places 5 stars, because there should be place for improvements before I do that. For me to give this place 5 stars, the sushi should be a little bit better and there should be a few more vegtable options for the barbeque.

All in all, really worth eating here, its among the top Chinese places in this part...

Pros:

buffet is good, sushi is acceptable desserts options big place, but clean and warm fair prices super fast service (ahah get it??)

Cons:

Staff: went serious the instant they realized we couldn't speak Danish; 10 minutes after being seated, waitress was playing with cutlery so I had to go and ask if it was ok to start with buffet and for ordering drinks. 2 times she passed by our table, asking everyone around if everything was ok, systematically skipping us. It can make you feel pretty uncomfortable. I'd be tempted to describe this as racist behaviour, but being the waitress CLEARLY of non-danish origins, I'll settle with stupidity and incompetence, which is still a big NO for me.

Horrible customer service. We were treated incredibly bad because my 6 year old son mistakingly took 4-5 raw mussels on his plate and when he tasted them he obviously could not eat them. Hence, a “seasoned” waitress not only discussed us with other personnel pointing at us but also came to our table and told us off — that these are too expensive and in other restaurants people pay a lot to eat them so we should be careful the next time around. Unbelievable! To be scolded like that — poor taste & manners. We’ve eaten in fine dining restaurants and buffet restaurants alike but never got such...
