FAROOJ AL SHAM — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

Saw someone mentioning this place on Reddit and, after looking at the reviews and the photos, decided to see for myself if it was indeed true or just the usual inflated ratings a lot of restaurants have here around town. Well, I am now a believer and a preacher, because the food in this place really deserves 5 stars. The chicken came super juicy, tender, still smoking hot on the inside, and with such a nice crispy layer (and very well seasoned, by the way). The coleslaw and the fries were very good pairs to the chicken. As for the portion size, I hope you are either super hungry or else be ready to pack something to take home (as I did): I ordered half, and still managed to take one and a half piece as a leftover for dinner. What else can I say? I’ll have to come back at least one more time to try the grilled chicken. It is well worth a 30 minute bike...

Best fried chicken I have ever tasted!!! The broasted chicken is fried in a pressure cooker and makes the chicken so crispy and juicy at the same time. Well worth the wait time and the owner is very nice. I just want more of the herbs and spices otherwise perfect! Nice...

En sen søndag aften, sad jeg sulten og viste ikke hvad jeg skulle spise. Så gik jeg pludseligt forbi en skøn duft ved denne restaurant, og jeg bad straks om at få noget kylling. En kylling der var så sprød, saftig og smagfuld, at man skulle tro at det var løgn. Kom herhen og prøv deres kylling. I har ikke levet ordentligt, før I har prøvet det. Derudover var servicen helt i top. Vi blev mødt med et smil, blev hele tiden spurgt om vi tilfredse eller manglede noget. Vi blev endda til efter lukketid og fik en herlig snak med ejeren, en sød og rar ung mand, som er fantastisk dygtig til at lave mad. Det er næsten synd, at jeg kun kan give 5 stjerner. Havde jeg kunne give mange flere, så havde jeg...
