It is a nice place to have food if you want to have middle eastern food. I had gone with my friends for dinner on a Friday night. Although we were very late. The staff welcomed us. We were not denied service We reached at 8.45 and the restaurant closes sometime around 9. We had the boneless chicken kabab with rice. There was bread also. The platter was huge and was more than sufficient. The chicken, vegetables, rice with gravy and everything else on the platter was very tasty. The drinks were reasonably charged we had coca cola and water. Overall it was a very nice experience. The card machine was not working so we had to get cash from a nearby automat and apparently the restaurant does not accept Mobilepay as I was told by the staff.
If u looking for authentic and tasty middle eastern food this place is a good option for your mom vegetarians food cravings. The chicken was seriously very good. The best time to be at the hotel is between 6-7 pm for dinner. On a busy day I assume the good stuff gets over quickly as the restaurant usually remains full.
The food is must have.
Will take one star for the limited food availability and mode of payment option cash only(one never always carry cash) at least Mobilepay option should be arranged for a...
Read moreFood was almost fine! However they need to learn how to interact with customers. When I went to pay our meal, the guy told me I should give him a dankort card, I gave him my Visa card (which the bank told me was also a dankort card), he started to talk to me loudly in Danish, even I spoke with him in English. I told him I don't have any card specifically with DK sign, but I can pay with mobilePay, he said NO.
Then, he showed me a note (all in Danish :))), that they only accept DK cards. So, how someone who doesn't know Danish should realize if they don't have DK card or cash (who has nowadays in Denmark?) with them, shouldn't order anything?? They should have put a big note at the entrance that says "Don't come inside if you don't speak either Danish or Turkish/Arabic, and do not have DK card or cash with you, we don't accept Visa or Mastercard and do not speak English!".
After a few minuts of explanations, he finally gave me mobilePay number for the payment.

This was mine and my wife's favorite place to eat when we go to Århus. After a while we decided to go there again, just to find out that the prices got skyrocketed. We would always get some pre-meal zaziki-looking snack with some nice crispy beaked bread which was pretty beefy and very tasty. You could almost get full just by eating this. But now, they scrapped even this from the menu. We still got a delicious meal, but after getting used to the already expensive prices and the pre-meal snack, not getting them now and slapping us with even more expensive receipt, we were just a bit disappointed. Who doesn't care what he gets for the money it's still a very good restaurant. But I guess that's a very low percentage of people. After going there every time we went to Århus, we unfortunately don't...
