Restaurant Tinggården — Restaurant in Gribskov Municipality

An absolutely wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal. Carefully crafted and absolutely delicious. Really one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Denmark.

The only sad thing was that we did not leave enough time for dinner. (Entirely our fault) We had a 7:30 reservation and as we were camping nearby, had to be at our campsite by 10 PM) As a result our meal wound up being a little rushed at the end which is only sad because no surprise the desserts were spectacular.

The chefs and kitchen were incredibly gracious when we told them about our time constraints .

This is one of those places that came as a delightful surprise. A hidden gem absolutely worth visiting! But give yourselves several hours to really savor it. ...

What a lovely spot a bit in the middle of no where. They serve really amazing food. What I liked the most is that the food was just really well made. No dish wanted to be more than it was. I can only recommend to take the accompanying vine as well. It was a perfect match. And the choice between the cheese selection or the regular desert is really tough. Both was simply fantastic. They have also a lovely little shop with selfmade bread, pastry and a few other little things and you can sit in the garden enjoying the great quality. All in all expensive, but...

Perfect - What a wonderful place with character and a unique atmosphere. We ate here as a family looking for an experience with different tastes with gourmet food.

Everything lived up to expectations and much more.

Finally the staff was perfect. Knowledgable, friendly and tentative to us - couldn’t ask for more with all the small details added through their expertise in guiding our dinning experience.
