The location of this „Pub at the End of the World“ is just one positive aspect. The atmosphere is lovely and the people working here were more than friendly. The most notable fact about this pub, however, is the absolutely amazing and formidable food. The portions are huge and the taste is unbelievable. The best, from my point of view, are the dipping sauces which we had with our dishes. The barbecue sauce was from another world! You could see and taste that it’s not only handmade but it’s made with knowledge, experience, and love. The mixture of mayo and this bbq sauce was also fantastic as was the tartar sauce with the fish and chips.

In total, I would give this place 6 out of 5 stars!

The best fish and chips i ever had! The batter is delicious, the fish is fresh and flavorful, the sauce was amazing and the fries were perfectly made. I also tried the Stjerneskud and, again, was the best i ever had.

The place doesn’t look like much from outside, and in the beginning we were not entirely sure we are at the right place. But once you go inside it has a lovely atmosphere, a nice view and very helpful and friendly staff. They were very kind to my 4 year old and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We returned for the buffet, particularly for the ribs, and the food was just as great! The beer selection was also very satisfying (as per my husband’s assessment). Ich sehe das Restaurant oder besser Bierbar etwas zwiegespalten gegenüber. Das Bier ist sehr gut und in einer sehr grossen auswahl. Die meisten Biere sind von Faß. Die Preise allerdings auch mit landestypischen saftigen Preisen. Das Essen beschränkt sich auf maximal 10 Gerichte. Als Fisch gibt es lediglich einen Backfisch. Das meiste ist Hamburger und manchmal Spareribs. Ob die Karte wechselt bin ich mir nicht sicher - glaube es aber auch nicht. Was ich allerdings mir eingestehen muss. Es war definitiv der beste Backfisch den ich jemals gegessen habe !!! Meine Frau hatte einen Hamburger und fand in auch sehr gut. Für Kinder gibt es Nuggets und Pommes. Es ist also für jeden was dabei. Die wenigen Gerichte sind also ich zum entpfehlen. Der Name Fischermans Rest interpretiere ich allerdings als Fischlokal. Das ist es aber definitiv nicht! Es ist eine Bar für die alten Fischer aus den Ort. Die Fischer gibt es nicht mehr und jetzt ist es die Örtliche Kneipe mit vielen Biersorten und wenigen aber guten deftigen Gerichten. Die Einrichtung ist - sagen wir es positiv - orginal. Nobel ist hier gar nichts und hat so gesehen nichts an ihren alten Charm verloren. Die Bedingungen / Besitzer sehen auch aus - als ob sie gerade aus ihren Fischerboot gefallen wären. Ich Kann somit das Lokal für mindestens einen Besuch entpfehlen. Entweder auf nen sehr gutes aber teures Bier (für deutsche Verhältnisse) oder auf nen guten Hamburger / Spareribs oder geilen Backfisch. Über die Einrichtung muss man hinwegsehen.
