Kamii sushi i Hjørring — Restaurant in Hjørring Municipality

Nice variety of Asian dishes e.g. sushi etc. We have tried nudles with chicken too and three different sets of sushi dishes. All of them were great. On a Thursday just before 14:00 there were only about three other tables occupied otherwise the restaurant was empty which was actually very pleasant. Extra points for interesting interior design. I liked the de orations on the walls. If there must be something little to improve I'd vote for the interior lights. I think the restaurant interior would benefit from a slightly more ballanced interior lighting. Because of the bright sunny summer weather customers sitting towards the entré and glass exterior walls can't see into faces of the people at the same table which makes conversation rather difficult. So apparently “All You Can Eat” here means “All You Can Eat… of whatever they feel like giving you.” You don’t get to order, you just sit there and hope for the best. This little detail? NOWHERE on the website, the sign, or from the staff. We called them out because, honestly, that feels like a scam. Funny enough, they’ve since updated the website… guess they knew. Oh, and charging for leftover sushi when it’s the kitchen who decides which and how many? Be serious. Also, why does every sushi tastes and look like it got baptized in mayo/cream? Min hustru og jeg havde den absolutte fornøjelse at spise på denne sushi-restaurant, og det var en oplevelse i særklasse. Fra det øjeblik, vi trådte ind, blev vi mødt af en elegant men afslappet atmosfære, hvor det er tydeligt, at der er tænkt over hver eneste detalje. Servicen var upåklagelig – venlig, opmærksom, men aldrig påtrængende. Men det var selvfølgelig maden, der stjal showet. Sushiudvalget var fyldestgørende uden at være uoverskueligt, med alt fra klassiske nigiri til kreative og nyskabende makiruller. Fisken var så frisk, at det nærmest smeltede på tungen, og hver eneste bid var en fryd for smagsløgene. Der var en perfekt balance mellem teksturer og smage – fra den silkebløde sashimi til den ekstremt sprøde tempura. Vi vil også gerne give en varm anbefaling til at prøve deres BB cocktail, det var en fantastisk smagsnuance at kombinere den udsøgte sushi med.
