I went to Mac's burgers all over Sweden and absolutely loved it. This one does not fall even close to the same category. To start off the vestibule door was wedged open allowing dirt and leaves and all kinds of stuff to blow into the vestibule. It was a total mess. It looked like a rundown entrance to an abandoned building. We went inside and tried ordering on the menu tablet. Apparently Denmark is different than Sweden franchise wise. We wanted to order salads but there were only two kinds of salads and they were fixed with everything that you could get. So you couldn't change the dressing, you couldn't request a different meat, it was really bad. So we went and we looked at the menu that was posted and the menu posted showed all kinds of things available. So we asked them if it's on that menu can we still get it? And they said yes. But then they couldn't get it through the machine to get it ordered. So they made adjustments manually and at least was able to change the dressing for The salad, and I decided to go with a burger. The food once we got it was pretty good. Just that frustration getting to it was very tough. We went and used the restrooms. Which everyone we went to in Sweden had very nice. Clean restrooms. The se looked more like a New York McDonald's. They were so run down, Beat up, and dirty. We were so disappointed with the way the menu posted and the ordering tablets were totally different and they couldn't even take care of it at the register. It seemed like these Max burgers in Denmark. Didn't know what they had going on. I walked into another one in the center of town in Copenhagen just to see if their tablet also showed only the two salads that were fixed ingredients and it was the same. So we never went to another Max burgers before flying home. It was really sad. Because Sweden had mastered the art of great fast food, and...
Read moreWe asked specifically for the vegan burgers, but the staff seemed not to be familiar with the concept of vegan food. They just pointed at the veggie section of the menu, featuring the lacto-ovo amd plant-based burgers. I wanted to reassure myself whether the plant-based burgers (depicted without cheese) were vegan and asked about the mayonnaise. They told me it was plant-based as well, so I ordered two plant-based burgers for take away. Later we noticed that they had put cheese slices on the burger. For vegans, these experiences are really annoying. It would be even worse for people who are allergic to lactose. The coke tasted like old mineral water, the syrup was probably empty. It was also expensive. Total...
Read moreWe wanted to use the drive thru. They told us to wait and we waited for 5 minutes. I asked if anybody is there but did not hear anything. So we decided to go inside. There were a lot of people in line waiting for the kiosk machines. There was no one in the counter to take orders. Finally we could make the order on the kiosk. Then it took 16 minutes to receive our order. The plant burger did not taste good at all. The inside was undercooked and I had to crush through the pieces inside. The only good thing about the order was the chili...
