We had seafood buffet here, not a very enjoyable experience. First it’s not a relaxed buffet place, more like a seafood market where each fish desk is controlled by one “chef”. First you need get a card for 1/2 lobster. After a long queue we got our half lobster and I asked for some crab legs from the same desk the old guy is very very mean he just gave one small joint without any meat in it. He is in charge of the cost center of the whole restaurant, which is make it very hard to request any food from him. After 10 mins queue we just got a small 1/2 Lobster. I don’t have any incentive to queue again, that’s enough, it’s already destroyed the mood for the whole night. Then we tried some cold seafood dishes, all tasted very very boring and bad. Most cooked fish or shelled meat are too salty, it’s not the saltness born with the seafood it’s too much salt “chefs” added. Only a few things are eatable, like the frying food and salad. After the first round, we just want to get some salad and water only. We left there within 1 hour. For 600 krone each person, I think you have a lot of good places to go in Denmark. I have to admit the materials used are all decent but the salty tastes and the non-freedom of choosing your food can’t justify this price. If you ever have tried some properly cooked seafood I promise you won’t come back again like us 1 star is just for the materials per se, they are very fresh...

A very pleasant restaurant overlooking the marina, about 10 minutes north of the city centre. The main dining room is upstairs providing a good view of the harbor.
Though we didn't have reservations, we were able to be seated within 5 minutes, in what appeared to be a busy restaurant for a midweek dinner. I had telephoned earlier during the day, but they didn't answer their phone.
Service was acceptable, though our young server was visibly put out by our interest to only order wine initially and enjoy a glass before ordering our meal. So, we accommodated her, and ordered everything at once.
However, she misunderstood our order, and brought out our starter salad with our main dishes. Since the fish dish was hot, we ate the main right away, and had the server take the salad back to eat afterwards.... Not a big deal, and good of the young girl to come over and apologize.
The food was very good, and like most Danish restaurants, heavy on the potatoes. Our fish was Haddock, 240 Dkr, baked in a butter broth, with assorted vegetables, including carrots and fennel. The salad, only 50 Dkr, was large enough to share. Our dessert was a chocolate fondant, 100 Dkr. Two Half bottles of wine were 270 Dkr each, for a total of 1166 Dkr.
A most...
Read moreConsidering the price this was surprisingly underwhelming. Firstly the service was straight up inexperienced, lack of explanations and feel for the company and for the wine pairing it was just picking and getting poured - expected more in terms of explanations from this kind of price tier.
We had the seafood buffet which to be fair consisted of so many different kinds of sea food and various additions. Nonetheless, i found many of the items (since its also a buffet style) to be overcooked and having spent way to long on the table, especially considering its fresh seafood. Which often lead to dull and bland experiences. With that said i did enjoy the crayfish and a few other items.
In essence, considering the price and quality I'd rather stick to the abundance of great eateries I'm Copenhagen. If you happen to be around the area - honestly just save a bit and go to Køge...
