We went there twice, before and after Sweden/Norway. It is so difficult to find nice food that i donât have to cook (we donât eat pizza/kebab/burger) that we were happy this restaurant was on our road twice. The second time the owner recognized us even if it was 2 months later and offered us hot tea as there was no-one else at that time. We like the fact that we can have food at any time (not possible in France). And it feels so much like in Asia when you enter there (the owner eats there, have her friends or family around, it is not as clean as occidental people could expect). The food is much more expensive than in France but it is the prices in Denmark. We had pho in street food for the same price but the quality was so poor it is a shame (nothing fresh, no vegetables, limejuice and chili in plastic bottles...). We ordered Pho and banh cuon. As we were alone I was wondering what was frying, well it was the filling of the banh cuon, and the shallots on top of it. What a change ! So tasty. (although the dough was more cheewy than what I expected but I know it is a challenge).
Someone put 1 star because dogs are not allowed. Well, so normal in a restaurant, it should be like that in every restaurant. My dog is really polite (not "well trained" as i havnât done anything for that) (so she could not understand why she was on a leash "in the natureâ in Sweden), i take her every time I can, but her place is not in museum, cinema or restaurant. there are other people around. If everyone come with his dog it will be a barking concert, (while my dog would stay quiet and annoyed with all this noise as it often happens!)
Looking forward to be (with my dog!) in Ho Chi Minh (your place!) in 5 weeks and eat Vietnamese food 3 times a day!

Read moreI got the bĂĄnh cuá»n, pho ly, and cha giá». It was delicious!!! BĂĄnh cuá»n was soft and not greasy with meat and shrimp inside just like how my mother makes it. Pho had good flavoring and lots of meat. Cha giá» was crispy and hot with yummy filling. I used to get these dishes back in the states in Cali and New York on a regular basis and I missed them soooo much. Canât believe I finally found a place that sells bĂĄnh cuá»n and serves bá» viĂȘn (meatballs) in their pho đđ. Nice staff and quick to get the take away ready. Only 15 min! Canât wait to come back and try the grilled meat - also something hard to find in a Danish Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely come try it!
